Remit

The remit for the Mentoring and Coaching SIG is to provide a platform for members of ITTE interested in exploring common issues and working together in a community of practice to share experiences and develop strategies for enhancing the quality of mentoring and coaching in providers and across their partnerships.

One of the key issues which is particular to the ITTE membership is the provision of high quality experience in ICT education for those training to become teachers - whether in secondary or primary education. Another area of common interest is making use of ICT-based solutions to some of the difficulties of maintining effective and positive relationships between provider institutions and schools.

SIG members are interested in pooling their experiences and sharing in examples of good practice which they have encountered.

If you are interested in joining the SIG, please email thew convener, Rik Bennett (r.bennett@chester.ac.uk) to become included in the email list and to receive news updates and information about SIG related events.
