Ken Powell, Chair

I taught (and was head of department and network manager) in schools in Kent and Essex before moving into teacher training. In 2003 I joined Canterbury Christ Church to set up and run the secondary ICT teacher training course and teach on the professional studies programme where I also manage a consortium of schools in Maidstone.

I now manage the professional studies module of the programme and have done stints as acting programme director of our online PGCE course. I also oversee the faculty's ICT use.

I have been involved in research into e-safety at KS3, the use of mobile technology by mentors and the development of course in light of curriculum change.
